Yep and we’ve made our registrations. This will be the second Kingdom University I’ve attended and the first for my wife. Needless to say with the fact that we’ve been inactive for so long we need to do garb work. Last night’s post was concerning the understanding on how to make Trews for me to wear (my first period pair of pants

Our last event, first one since we decided to get active again, was plagued by a lack of garb and last minute garb making (note to self this does not make a pregnant woman happy). So this time we are starting a good two months in advance. Especially since I need new pants, and a new tunic will go nicely with that, she needs a new dress, and our ever growing two year old needs pants shirts and what ever we can make for him. Next month I plan on ordering a new pair of shoes (those roman sandals are not comfortable and not really good in the winter). I figure I need to learn how to make garb before I go around trying to make shoes

We are really excited about what classes will be offered. At the time of this posting we have no idea because a class schedule hasn’t been posted. I’m hoping for a couple of heraldic classes. I’ll worry about the heavy fighting stuff next year after I’ve had the winter to finish getting my armor built and secured correctly.
My wife is thinking of building a class for some future Kingdom University. Her worry is that there will be no interest in the class. Her class would cover Medieval Pregnancy and Birth. She actually has read quite a bit about it and I think it would prove interesting. I guess we’ll see what comes of it.
